Mr. Tishan Subasinghe

Tishan Subasinghe is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). He has served as a Member of the Council of CA Sri Lanka from 2013 to 2023.
An Attorney-at-Law and a life member of the Bar Association, Tishan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor [CISA-USA] and was awarded an MBA in Finance by the University of Colombo, along with a Gold Medal for the same.
At present, he serves as the Managing Director and Joint Managing Partner of Moore Consulting (Pvt) Ltd and Moore Aiyar, respectively. Previously, he was the Head of Audit and Assurance at BDO Partners. He is also a Council member of the University of Moratuwa.
His exposure to the profession is multiethnic and multi-cultural. It expands not only island-wide but also to overseas work relationships with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) international head office in New York, Philadelphia office, and PwC in Botswana spanning several years. He is also a visiting lecturer at several government universities and has also conducted international training in Maldives and Bhutan.
Tishan has been continuously affiliated with CA Sri Lanka and its community since his years as a student. Since obtaining membership from CA Sri Lanka, he has served on numerous committees, and was also the Chairman of the Annual Report Awards, National Conference, Examinations, and Member Relations Committees. Additionally, he held the position of Vice President of the Young Chartered Accountants Forum (YCAF).
As the Chairman of the Examinations Committee at CA Sri Lanka for four years, Tishan played a crucial role in transitioning exams to an online mode in 2020, ensuring uninterrupted examinations for CA Sri Lanka students during the global pandemic.
He has also marked his regional presence within the accounting fraternity across the Asia Pacific Region. He is currently serving in various committees of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and was elected to the Board of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) recently.
His professional role has also extended to national level, having served as a member of the Presidential Commission on Simplification of Laws and Regulations and a member of the Committee for Revival of Failed Licenced Finance Companies established by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
