Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui, FCA, is a distinguished finance executive and globally recognized accountancy leader with over 25 years of diversified experience across publishing, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, technology, and professional regulation. He currently serves as Finance Director & CFO at Oxford University Press (OUP) Pakistan, where he leads financial governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence for one of the countrys foremost knowledge institutions.

Samiullah is the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and plays a central role in guiding the Institutes strategic direction and institutional reforms. He also serves as Chair of the HR Committee and the Executive Committee, two of ICAPs most influential governance bodies. Over the years, he has contributed significantly across ICAPs ecosystem through key roles in the PAIB, Incubation, Examination, Members Affairs, Overseas Members, Women Members, Governance, and Education & Training Committees. In addition, he leads the Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Board, supporting national AML/CFT capacity building.

Committed to lifelong learning, Samiullah has completed executive leadership and strategic management programs at Harvard Business School, the University of Oxford, Duke University, Babson College, and LUMS, strengthening his global perspective on governance, transformation, and leadership effectiveness.

Internationally, he represents Pakistan as a Member of the IFAC PAIB Advisory Group, contributing to global discourse on finance leadership, ethics, sustainability reporting, digital transformation, and future-ready competencies.

His corporate career includes leadership roles with multinational organizations. He previously led multi-country finance operations for Siemens, enhancing governance and regional performance management, and contributed to financial strategy and operational transformation at Linde Pakistan. Beyond ICAP, he has also served as a member of the Taxation Committee of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI).

A Certified Director and advocate of technology adoption, youth empowerment, Islamic finance, and global mobility for accountants, Samiullah continues to strengthen institutions and elevate the standing of Pakistani finance professionals on the global stage.
