Mr. Mohammed Humayun Kabir is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), with over 45 years of professional experience. He worked at a CA firm from February 1981 to January 1985, at a financial institution from February 1985 to June 1988, and thereafter served the business and industry in senior positions.

Mr Kabir was awarded poribesh podok (environment award) by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), GoB in 2010 and recognised as commercially important person (CIP) export for 9 times for the years 2007, 2011-2015, 2017, 2021 and 2022 by Ministry of Commerce, GoB.

He was involved with the National Board of Revenue (NBR) as a Facilitator of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) from March 2012 to June 2025. He was nominated by the Government to its different Committees for the evaluation of the performance of state owned entities, for reviewing Corporate/Taxation Laws and for evaluating proposals for investment/EOI/consultant hiring/procurement bids, etc.

He was associated with different chambers and business associations as Director (elected) namely Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2021-2023), Shippers Council of Bangladesh (2009-11), Bangladesh Jute Spinners Association (2015-17) and a Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Goods Association (2007-09). He sat in the Board of Directors of Monno Ceramics Limited (1986-1987), West Zone Power Distribution Company Ltd (2005-06), Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Ltd (2008), Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd (2008), Shadharan Bima Corporation (2008-2013) and Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (2016-19) as a nominated/Independent Director. He was also involved with the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industries (1996-2024) as a member of panel of advisers, Chairman/Convener of different standing and non-standing committees.

He served as an elected Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for eight consecutive terms from 2001 to 2024. He was Vice President in 2002 & President in 2008 of ICAB. He was the Chairman of Editorial Board (2003-2004), Information of Technology Committee (2005- 2006), Taxation & Corporate Law Committee - TCLC (2013-2024) and Review committee for Published Accounts & Reports - RCPAR (2019-2024) of ICAB.

He was Member of Accounting & Auditing standards Committee (2009-2018) and Improvement of Transparency Accountability and Governance Committee (2019-2024) of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). He was also technical advisor to SAFA Board (2019-2024) and Vice President of the SAFA in the year 2025.

He participated in general assembly meetings of International Federation of Accountants – IFAC held in 2010 (New York, USA), in 2014 (Rome, Italy), and in 2018 (Sydney, Australia). He participated IFAC council meeting in February, PAODAG meeting in March in New York 2025 and IFAC Council & Assembly Meetings held in Mexico City, Mexico in November 2025.

Mr. Kabir is well known for his expertise in fiscal laws, financial management, business strategies, corporate governance and macroeconomic issues. His analyses and suggestions are being accepted by the policy framers, decision makers and entrepreneurs with high esteem and value. Mr. Kabir is a regular participant in TV talk shows on banking, capital market, fiscal matters and issues relating to trade and investment. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has led and collaborated in providing clients with a range of services including due diligence reviews, internal audits, statutory and tax audits. He also engaged in offering strategic and value-added advice from a business and process risk assessment perspective to clients that also include serving as a financial advisor to boards of corporate clients of the firm. Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola

Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP).

He served as the Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) in the year 2024.He has been an active member in various Committees/Task Force of SAFA and has significantly contributed to the activities of SAFA. Mr. Tola was instrumental in formation of the Economic Advisory Committee of SAFA in the year 2024 and is the first Chairman of Committee tasked with providing insights on economic issues relevant to the region.

Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). He served as the Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) in the year 2024. He has been an active member in various Committees/Task Force of SAFA and has significantly contributed to the activities of SAFA. Mr. Tola was instrumental in formation of the Economic Advisory Committee of SAFA in the year 2024 and is the first Chairman of Committee tasked with providing insights on economic issues relevant to the region. He is a member of the Policy Board at the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives.

Mr. Tola was previously the Minister of State of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Chairman of Pakistan's Reforms and Resource Mobilization Commission. He also served as the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan for the term 2022-2023 and has been a member of the ICAP's Council since 2017. Additionally, he has held the position of Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan for the term 2020-22 and led various committees of the Institute, including the Fiscal Laws, Economic Advisory and Government Relationship, Overseas Coordination, and Examination Committees.

Mr. Tola is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years of expertise in diverse areas such as tax planning and advisory, assurance and business advisory services, international mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and investment banking, financial product design and launch, and corporate affairs.

In addition to his professional roles, he is a life member of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has served as a technical advisor to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Board member. He has also been a Member of the Board of Directors for CA Worldwide, the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), and the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA). Mr. Tola has also been involved in various governmental advisory positions, such as the Tax Reforms Commission 2014, the Tax Reforms Implementation Committee of FBR, the Board of the Privatization Commission - Government of Pakistan, and serving as the President of Karachi Club for four years. Furthermore, Mr. Tola is an advisor to the Institute of Policy Reforms and an honorary life member of the Karachi Press Club.

Mahbub Ahmed Siddique is the Chief Operating Officer of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He joined in 2008, advancing to Director (Technical) in 2013, where he oversaw strategic functions including Quality Assurance, Technical Standards, Training & Research, and International Affairs.

His professional experience encompasses governance and the implementation of IFAC's SMOs at ICAB. He served as Member Secretary to several ICAB Council committees. From September to November 2020, he also concurrently held the position of Secretary & CEO of ICAB.

He contributes to regional and global accountancy bodies, having held the positions of Assistant Executive Secretary (2016) and Executive Secretary (2017) of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), and is nominated again for these roles in 2025 and 2026, respectively. He also serves as an ICAB-nominated Director for the SAFA Foundation and as Marketing Director for Chartered Accountants Worldwide. Furthermore, he has been selected as a member of the IFAC Professional Accountancy Organizations Advisory Development Group (PAODAG) for the 2026-2028 term.

Prior to ICAB, he worked as a consultant for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales on a World Bank-funded ICAB-ICAEW twinning project and in the finance division of a major telecommunication company.

He holds a Master's in Accounting and completed his professional training at Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants gaining audit experience across financial institutions and multinational corporations. He qualified as an ICAB Associate Member in 2007 and was admitted as a Fellow in 2012.
