CA Prabin Kumar Jha, President (2024-25) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has served (and has been serving) under various standing and non-standing committees of ICAN for several years. He was also a Board Member of Security Exchange Board of Nepal (Regulator of Capital Markets in Nepal) for 2023-24 and Member of Audit and Compliance Committee of All Nepal Football Association (FIFA/AFC Recognized).

He is a senior partner of Joshi & Bhandary, a Chartered Accountant Firm registered in Nepal, and has been associated with the firm for more than 24 years in various capacities. He has more than two decades of experience in the field of accounting, auditing, taxation and advisory services. Apart from these, he has also rendered other accounting and auditing services such as special financial review, investigations, due diligence reviews etc. During this period, he has conducted number of statutory and internal audits of hydropower companies, banks, hotels, development projects and manufacturing industries etc. He has extensive experience in audit and review of bilateral projects, inputs of foreign support agencies to local NGOs including working in international missions in South and East Asia. He also possesses good training skills and have been involved as part time teacher for Chartered Accountancy Students and also trainer for training assignments managed by the firm on many occasions. He also has presented various papers at various domestic and international conferences/workshops on different occasions
