Md. Moniruzzaman FCA is the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for the year 2023. Prior to becoming President of ICAB, he was elected Vice President of ICAB in 2019. He was the Chairman of different Standing and Non-Standing Committees of the Council of ICAB including Investigation and Disciplinary Committee (IDC), Technical & Research Committee (TRC), Professional Development Committee (PDC), Committee for Small and Medium Practitioners (SMP), Media & Branding Committee, Quality Assurance Board (QAB), Editorial Board, etc.

Mr. Moniruzzaman obtained B. Com. (Hons) and M. Com in Accounting from the University of Dhaka. He became an Associate Member of ICAB in 2001 and Fellow Member in 2006.

Senior Partner of ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants, Mr Moniruzzaman is a Board Member of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) and also a Member of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Business Studies of the University of Dhaka. He served different listed companies in the role of Independent Director and the Chairman of Audit Committees.

Mr Moniruzzaman is a Life Member of the Accounting Alumni, University of Dhaka and also Life Member of Dhaka University Alumni Association, SM Hall Ex-students’ Association and Bangladesh Accounting Association.
