Mr Zahir Uddin Ahmed, FCA

Mr Zahir Uddin Ahmed, FCA was the President of ICAB for two terms in 1975-76 and 1981. He has been in the Council of ICAB since its inception. At 46th SAFA Assembly meeting, he was elected as President for the year 2002.Mr Zahir Uddin Ahmed is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London.

He was an honorary lecturer in the Department of Management of Dhaka University for nearly 25 years.Mr Zahir Uddin Ahmed has served as Member of several committees including the Cost and Price Consultative Committee and Company Law Reforms Committee formed by the Government of Bangladesh.
